Raspberry ‘Fall Gold’ – 1 dormant bare root plant
1-year-old canes

A self-fruitful variety of fall raspberries. This super sweet, gold variety of raspberry is ideal for fresh eating and has the sweetest juiciest berries we have ever tasted. Berries begin white and ripen to a golden yellow when fully ripe. Plants are cold hardy to zone 3 and will produce fruit into late fall up until the first frost.

Planting instructions:
Once you receive your bare root plant, immediately submerge the roots into water and plant in soil to prevent them from drying out.  Use an all-purpose fertilizer around the base of the plant and water it in well. Once the weather warms, the plants will come out of dormancy and will be able to set fruit within a year. Do not prune any part of the plant for the first year. Support may be needed.

      I had not done dormant plants prior to this one, but I followed the included instructions. After a while I succeeded in growing a stick that looked like the one I had gotten in the original packaging. Not going to put all of the blame on the stock and will give it another try when they are available again. I will update my review if the next go-round is more successful.
