This 1885 variety has been a favorite for the home and market garden for generations. Produces smooth and tender pods that grow up to 5″ long. Extremely productive. The flavor and color of this variety are not changed during the preservation process, making it ideal for canning and freezing.

    All of the planted seeds germinated. Fast healthy growth. This is my first time growing beans and I cannot wait to start eating!

    Every seed i planted grew. Very delicious I’ve gotten 3 ziplock baggies full off of 4 plants and they are still giving off beans.

    I grew these in a container in my greenhouse this summer, they took a bit longer than some of the other varieties I grew to start producing, but once they took off I was getting handfuls of beans off these vines daily, all summer long. We ate our fill of fresh beans and frozen several pounds of them. I will be growing these again next year. Every bean I planted germinated.
