An okra variety breaded for having no thorns. A delicious green prized in the south for making the most delicious gumbo ever! This southern delicacy does not have to grow just down south, grow it in the north too and expand your taste buds! Many pods form on the plant, and flowers attract hummingbirds, bees, and other beneficial insects.

Although I ordered late, my okra is growing quite well in my Southern Missouri climate.

I planted these along side my clemson spineless okra, and let me tell you! they area smaller plant, but dont let that fool you! started producing weeks before the clemson spineless, and it takes them a little bit longer to get tough if you forget to pick them. Flavor is good and comparable to other varieties. I may end up growing only this variety in the future.

Great producer. Good okra flavor. Will have to grow a few more times before I can say if I will keep growing it.
