Purple Ruffles Basil
One of the prettiest basil varieties. AAS seed winner, and a very easy plant to grow. Purple ruffles won’t bolt as fast as other varieties and can be propagated easily from cutting to multiply plants out. leaves are jagged with deep purple with slight green tinges making them a showstopper. Basil remains purple when cooked but it is most amazing when eaten fresh. Use just as you would sweet basil or genovese.
