100% cold pressed pure neem oil with azadirachtin
For organic gardening pest control
Neem oil is used to prevent white fly, spider mites, aphids, fungus gnats, and cabbage looper caterpillar. Neem oil sold in big box stores has been heavily refined and most of the killing properties have been removed though the oil making process. One of the main chemicals found in this cold pressed neem oil that is not found in others is the chemical azadirachtin. This is a growth regulator that inhibits the growth of pests and prevents them from reproducing. When this chemical is not in the oil, the effectiveness of neem oil drops dramatically. This is why most people find that it does not work. This neem oil is 5 times more potent than anything in the store. A little goes a VERY long way.
To use: Mix 1 1/2 Tablespoons neem oil with 1 gallon of water, add a few drops of dish soap, mix thoroughly. Then spray top and bottom of leaves until dripping. Repeat these steps as needed until pest problems are no longer present.
It is harmful to pets, humans, or beneficial bugs like worms, butterflies, or honeybees?
answer: NO. While we absolutely do not recommend consuming any, and recommend washing your hands after using this product, neem oil is perfectly safe for humans and pets and is found in many organic pet shampoos, toothpastes, and anti-fungal creams. It will not harm the life cycle of worms, honeybees, or butterflies because the chemical that is used to harm the garden pests simply has no effect on them*.
