First time growing these this year, started indoors on heat pads and in 6 weeks were 23 inches tall at time of planting. I look forward to this hearty variety.

Been growing tomatoes for many years and have decided Jubilee is my favorite of all. Grant it that I have not grown all tomatoes, but have grown many. I like a smooth well rounded tomato without much gristle (i call it) at the top of the tomato like beef stakes and German giants ( do like German giants which are very meaty and can grow to 2+ lb). What good is it if you have to cut away 1/3 of your tomato? Jubilee are low acid, sweet, meaty and mine have grown up to 1.5 pounds which makes a good sandwich. They also freeze and can well.
