Have grown topcrop for years. Heavy producing bean that tastes best eaten fresh in my opinion. For best results plant once soil is thoroughly warmed (65+ degrees) and run two lines of Jute (8 inches high) along either side of the furrow that you plant in. This creates a nice hedge of beans that won’t topple over.
Roger –
This was one of my favorite beans this year. They didn’t produce very long but they were very meaty with a great flavor and texture for longer cooking times.

This isn’t a review but a question, hope that’s ok. I was wondering how these beans can up. I’m a canner and love home canned beans so just wondering how this variety would work.
MIgardener –
We have been canning these for years and they are a total winner. Much better than string beans and straighter that other green beans.

great germination and wil write another reveiw when I get beans. Nice strong seedlings that starting in ground in cool conditions so I was surprised at the great germination rate! My overall experience with Mi gardenener seeds is superior quality and germination.
