I grew these for the 2018 growing season in zone 5a. As is common; especially in roma/paste style tomatoes, I had a bit of a problem with blossom end rot but folliar feeding saved the day. Yes they are striped while green but turn red when ripe. They hold a good amount of acid but it’s a bit too much for my personal taste. My community garden neighbor loves them.

Great variety, started producing early and held up better in the heat and erratic weather than anything else in my garden. Also super productive.

These were my most prolific tomato this year, and I’ll grow again. When ripe they don’t look like this though, they’re red, and I was very confused about what I grew. They were my best germination too, of the tomatoes I grew.

My wife and I loved these tomatoes. We live in vermont and these grew really well during the spring and summer. We had plenty to harvest and they made great salsas. Not to great for sauce base but well for supplementing a more saucy tomato. My wife loves these tomatoes fried.

Easy to germinate and fun to grow, my neighbors where scared of them which is fine I enjoyed eating them all to myself
