First time growing these very nice!! If you like boiling your veggies these are not for you. If you like a bit of steaming or stir frying this is perfect for you. Fry up some onion, fresh ginger, sesame seed and garlic add about 2 tablespoons of soy sauce in oil of choice salt to taste chop up the long bean add to the sizzling pan cook to tender and that is it serve over ramen noodle without the ramen seasoning.

These grow very well and produce a lot of beans in zone 9a (South Louisiana). Beans are delish raw, stir-fried, baked, in soups, etc. Easy to grow as long as you provide a good trellis.

*Note: they are susceptible to those darned aphids.

I planted these two years in a row. Both years I got lots of…typical green beans. Yep, planted the little red beans and got normal green beans for two disappointing years. Throwing the rest away.

Very prolific, great germination, & excellent flavor when picked young

These are a new staple in my daughters Teepee garden; super prolific, beautiful LONG beans, Crunchy flavor mixed between a green bean and a radish, perfect for sautéing or adding to stirfries.

Good germination, prolific grower and beautiful! After battling some aphid issues, we’ve had great success.
