Elderberry is a native plant to North America and grown widely for its medicinal qualities. Plant will get 10-14 feet tall and grow in clusters when fully mature. Elderberries have been grown for hundreds of years and used to make syrups, dyes, tea, and more. Fruits ripen in mid to late summer and are a deep purple when fully ripe.
