A: YES, but rarely. The reason is because our seeds are so fairly priced already. The best way to know about them when they do occur is by signing up to our newsletter which can be found at the top of our home page.
Q: Are your seeds non-gmo?
A: YES! Our seeds are non-gmo and heirloom. We only sell what we would grow for our family to enjoy.
Q: Is this a family owned business?
A: Absolutely. We have been proudly a family owned and operated company from our beginning in 2011.
Q: Where do you get your seeds from?
A: We source some seeds from our own plants, but most come from small family owned seed farms from around the country.
Q: Why are seeds 99 cents?
A: At MIgardener we believe that growing your own food should be fun and accessible. Our mission is to give you the most seed for your money. It excites us to help people to start growing for less than a dollar!
Q: How many seeds do you provide compared to other seed companies for my money?
A: We strive to provide the same or in most cases more than other seed companies. Your money is valuable and hard earned and you should get the most for it.
Q: How are your prices so low?
A: We cut costs where we can and pass those savings on to you. We don’t have a mail order catalog, we pack all our seeds in-shop, we don’t have a marketing budget, we are constantly buying in larger bulk quantities to save money as well as negotiating lower rates, and we have honed our needs to only spend what is needed.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: On average it takes 2-3 business days to send orders out. During the busier growing season, it can take up to 5 business days to have an order shipped out but we will always work to get your order out as fast as possible.
Q: Who do you ship with?
Q: Will I be notified when my order ships?
A: Yes! An email is sent with full tracking details when your order has shipped.
Q: Do you ship to Canada?
A: Absolutely we do! We ship anywhere in the world.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! We ship all over the world. However we disclose that we are not responsible for international orders that are refused by customs, since we trust that the customer is aware of the restrictions their country has in certain goods. To date we have not had any orders refused.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping starts at $2.75 for U.S domestic orders and goes up depending on what you order. The best way to figure that out is to calculate it at checkout. International orders start at $9 and go up. Our rates are based on what USPS charges us. So what you pay is what we pay.
Q: How long does my order take once shipped?
A: Please allow 3-5 business days to get an email notification of shipment in your order. We aim to provide the fastest and most reliable experience.
Q: What are points and how do I use them? Do they expire?
A: Rewards points are earned with every purchase. They are essentially money that can be used against a future purchase. For every $1 spent you will earn 5 points, and for every 100 points you can redeem them for $1 off. Yes, even if you have 1 point you can redeem it for the converted amount off your order. No points do not expire, as long as your account is active, the points will remain usable.
Q: How can I check my order?
A: You can check status of your order by logging into your account, it will say “processing” meaning we got your order – “printed” meaning we have printed your order and are packing it – and “Complete” this means your order has been shipped and there will be a tracking number associated with the order at this point.
Q: Can I use TRIFECTA+ in all my plants?
A: YES! Trifecta+ Fertilizer works in all plants. perennials, houseplants, annuals, ornamentals, trees, shrubs, vegetables, fruits, and anything else you can think of!
Q: How much Trifecta+ should I add on my plants?
Q: How do I apply Trifecta?
A: For seed starting we mix 1 cup per gallon of soil. For transplanting we apply the amount from the trifecta application guide to the plant in the planting hole. For existing plants we sprinkle the amount of fertilizer as it applies to the plant around the base, then we scratch it into the soil and water it thoroughly.

A: Please reach out to us ASAP, we will try our best to adjust the order, but can sometimes not be able to due to order volume. Since we cannot charge your card for security purposes it must be done via Paypal invoicing. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
